My 6-Hour Reward App Test: Was It Worth It?

Today I tried out 4 reward apps for 6 hours straight. I wanted to see how they actually perform and whether spending that much time was even worth it. Some apps definitely felt stronger than others when it came to PayPal rewards or gift cards, but of course, what works for me here in Australia might be completely different where you are. I went into this with no expectations—just wanted to show you what really happened so maybe it can help you decide which direction to go.

QMEE: Surveys, Cashback, and Gaming Offers

Starting off with QMEE! When you launch the app, you’ll see there’s a good variety of surveys available—at least here in my country, they pop up every day. They also have this bonus streak feature where if you complete one survey a day for five days, you get a small bonus. I thought that was pretty cool. There’s also cashback if you shop through certain brands, and even some gaming tasks that can reward more, though those definitely take more effort. I started off with a little bit in my balance and did a bunch of surveys across two hours. When people talk about "apps that give money," QMEE actually gave me a decent run during this test.

Maholla: Slower Surveys but Instant Reward Options

Next I moved on to Maholla. Straight up, the survey rates here felt a bit lower compared to QMEE, and the Playtime offers didn’t really stand out much in my region either. I gave it about 90 minutes of non-stop surveys, and the results weren’t amazing. But one thing I did like was that they offer multiple reward types. Last time I withdrew from Maholla, the reward came through instantly, which was a nice surprise. I did get a weird email warning me about my account, which I’ve never had before, so just keep that in mind if you're trying this app where you live.

JustPlay: Daily Events and Playtime-Based Rewards

Then there’s JustPlay. This app is always switching up its events, and during my test, it was the “Bloom and Boom” one. I spent two hours playing Treasure Master—honestly, it’s an easy one to just grind through while watching something in the background. What makes JustPlay different is how they convert your time into rewards every few hours. In my case, it was based on playtime, and the rewards came through without any issue. They’ve also got this system where more gameplay unlocks additional games, which I thought was interesting. For me, Treasure Master has always been one of the better options.

TopSurveys: High Offer Wall Rates and Fast Progress

Finally, I checked out TopSurveys. Out of all four apps, this one had probably the highest offer wall rates I’ve seen in a while—at least here in Australia. But like usual, they’re multi-tiered so you don’t get everything straight away. I grabbed a few surveys and managed to make some decent progress in under an hour. Their reward options include PayPal and a bunch of gift cards, and in my case, everything worked fine last time I withdrew. Some people call it one of the top money-making apps, and based on my session, I can see why it gets attention.

Final Thoughts: Which App Performed Best?

Each app had its pros and cons. Some felt more consistent, some had better variety, and some just didn’t perform as well in my area. It really depends on your region and what you’re hoping to get out of it. For me, this was a fun little challenge to see how these apps stacked up side by side over a few hours. I hope my experience helps you figure out which one might be worth trying on your end.
