I Tried 5 Apps To Get Rewards In 2025! (My Real Experience)

Testing Gamey’s Reward System

Gamey opens up with a coin-based system, and for me, I went straight for the PayPal option this time around. I’ve seen their other options before like PUBG and Free Fire, which worked for me in a past video, but today I just wanted to test out how the PayPal side holds up. Right now, there’s a double coin promo going on in Australia, so the two games available—Dice Streams and Doza Demolish—were giving me two times the rewards. They both actually rewarded me properly during the test. It’s definitely smoother with that promo running, but of course, the experience may change depending on where you live. I still think the games are the better way to earn on Gamey compared to the surveys, at least in my country.

Gifzy’s Withdrawal Issues

Gifzy kicked off with what looked like a promising system—simple concept, clear threshold for the rewards—but once I tried to actually withdraw, everything fell apart. No matter which amount I picked, it just kept saying “token must have greater value.” I messaged the devs with my account ID and they replied once, then just disappeared. I went through the games, sat through the ads, hit the balance I needed, and still couldn’t cash out. Honestly, it felt like it could’ve been something decent, but it just didn’t deliver. At least from what I experienced, I’m skipping this one for now.

Work Tracker’s Background Earning

Work Tracker is basically what you'd expect from a Givy app. That little dancing clock in the middle is the main focus—you start a session, and while the app runs in the background, it generates a bit of a reward. I let it run for over an hour and ended up with around 25 cents. Compared to other Givy apps, I’d say this one did okay. Surveys, though? Yeah, probably the lowest I’ve seen lately. Some of the offers make no sense at all—nine minutes for 21 cents, then 25 minutes for only 12 cents? No idea what they’re thinking. Still, if you’re not using your phone much, maybe you’ll get some use out of it.

Nova’s Payout Confusion

Nova felt way too familiar to Gamey—same layout, same coin amount for the same reward. I don’t know if they’re from the same devs or if someone’s just copying someone else. I tried to withdraw $1 worth of PayPal currency, and things got weird. I ended up getting a payout, but it came from an app I’ve never heard of before, and definitely not Nova. When I contacted them, they claimed there was no request under my email. I even sent them proof with screenshots, but they stopped replying after that. The message I got matched Gamey’s exact payout message, just with a different app name. I think they paid me, but under a completely different system. It just doesn’t add up.

Pro Gamer’s Location Error

Pro Gamer started off by asking for location access—fair enough—but once I enabled it, the app completely broke. I couldn’t even reopen it properly. When I did get it running, I saw a system similar to JustPlay with a timer and coin-based reward system. You play these super casual games for a few hours and apparently get coins based on how long you play. I spent about two and a half hours on it last night, sat through all the ads, made some progress, and then got hit with a location error when trying to cash out. Just a spinning wheel and nothing else. At least here in Australia, it doesn’t seem to be functioning at all.

Final Thoughts on App Reliability

This year’s already been wild with how many new apps are dropping promising rewards. Some of them do come through, some completely flop. What I’ve learned is that your location plays a massive role in how these apps perform. Just because something works for me doesn’t mean it’ll do the same for you. Gamey and Work Tracker were decent enough in my case, but apps like Gifzy and Pro Gamer didn’t deliver. As always, I’m just sharing what happened during my tests—you guys can take that however you want.
